-Work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Chroma to create stitch files from Illustrator or Photoshop files. (Other embroidery digitizing software experience will be considered)
-Manipulate digitized files to make them production ready for embroidery.
-Cut Appliques and sew out samples for approval.
-Assist with Production and other projects as needed.
-Load designs to flash drives and as well as load designs from media devices to embroidery machines
-May participate in programs for developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures. —–Perform multiple tasks on a project.
-Openly communicate with management to confirm any specific instructions on embroidery work and patterns prior to embroidery
-Be able to troubleshoot problems encountered. (Tech available for calls for advanced problems)
-Supports the achievement of goals through personal effort in own work area.
-Accountable for delivery of own tasks to agreed time and quality standards
-Review work orders to determine the specific embroidery design and thread colors
-Attention to detail & superior time management and attendance.
-Ability to stand for up, and rarely exceeding, to 8 hours per day.

Secondary Duties:

-Calibrate and set up embroidery machines at the beginning of each shift, to ensure that it works according to standards.
-Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on embroidery machines to ensure that they remain in good working order as required by machine specifications. Clean & oil machine daily, or as needed.
-Perform multiple tasks on an assigned project.
-Thread embroidery machines
-Hoop garments accurately according to requested customer specifications and properly and set it under the needle to perform embroidery patterns.
-Maintenance and upkeep of embroidery equipment and work area
-Knowledge of, and ability to work with, multiple types of fabrics, patterns, colors, and designs.

Qualifications:

-Minimum 3 years experience digitizing graphics for commercial embroidery, experience using chroma is a plus.
-Ability to design and manipulate vector files using Adobe Illustrator.
-Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
-Ability to operate and maintain embroidery equipment; trouble-shoot basic issues is a plus.
-Must have an artistic eye for detail and be able to offer suggestions in the sew out process for improved results.
-Ability to work in a fast-pace, deadline-driven, multi-project environment.
-Must be able to work in a team environment.
-Professional conduct with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to accept suggestions and revisions easily and professionally.
-Excellent Work History.
-Experience with Chroma digitizing software a plus but will consider other Embroidery digitizing software.

Job Type: Full-time

-Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
